FiveM Rules

Applies to all San Andreas Response Command roleplay servers. Short codes (F1–F17) are used in tickets and moderation notes.

F1 — No Metagaming

Using out-of-character (OOC) information in-character (IC) is prohibited. If your character wouldn’t realistically know it, you can’t use it—includes info from streams, Discord, or other characters’ DMs. See also: /rules/roleplay

F2 — No RDM/Initiation Without RP

Do not kill or start hostile RP without clear roleplay reasoning and initiation. Escalate with dialogue or visible intent first unless the scene already justifies force.

F3 — Stay In Character & FearRP

Remain IC at all times in voice and actions. Make sensible decisions and fear for life when at a severe disadvantage (weapons drawn on you, outnumbered, etc.). Powergaming is not allowed.

F4 — No Griefing, Baiting, or Bug Abuse

Trolling, baiting for reactions, target harassment, or ruining scenes via known bugs is not permitted. Repeat-killing the same person for the same reason is griefing.

F5 — No RP Avoidance

Do not disrupt or avoid the logical flow of roleplay (e.g., combat logging, deliberately respawning, or suiciding to escape a scene/consequence).

F6 — Job Equipment Control

Whitelisted/job equipment must not be given out. During criminal RP, non-weapon job items may be taken as part of a scene; restricted/whitelist gear cannot be redistributed.

F7 — Protected Assets

Robbery of organisations, stored vehicles, owned properties, job vehicles (job plates), or player bank accounts is prohibited—even at gunpoint. Using lockpicks specifically to rob players’ protected assets is not allowed. Property/vehicle systems: /systems/properties, /systems/vehicles

F8 — Scamming Limits

Scamming is only allowed when the trade involves prohibited weapons and/or drugs. Currency/items scammed in those trades are not protected. All other scams are disallowed.

F9 — When You May Rob Players

You may rob another player only if:

  • they are actively dealing drugs or robbing houses, or

  • it is direct retaliation for that player robbing/scamming you in the same session.

F10 — Robbery Crew Caps (default)

  • Banks/Stores: max 6 criminals vs 12 police

  • Arsenal/High-risk: max 8 criminals vs 16 police Caps apply to on-scene participants (drivers/lookouts count). Staff may adjust caps for events or server health; check the /news/changelog for updates.

F11 — Hostage Rules

Hostages must be uninvolved third parties (not affiliated with takers) and cannot be used for direct monetary payouts. Use hostages for negotiations, not cash farming.

F12 — Death/Medical Memory

  • If you respawn: you forget the scene and cannot return or “rediscover” it.

  • If revived by EMS: you retain memory, but do not return to the active scene unless logically present (e.g., transported). Medical flow: /careers/ems

F13 — IC Comms Only

IC voice comms are in-game: proximity voice, radio, or phone. Out-of-server VOIP/DMs are OOC and must not be used to coordinate IC actions.

F14 — No Blip/Marker Camping

Do not initiate hostile RP by camping system markers/blips (stores, houses, teleports, service doors). Build the scene; don’t farm UI elements.

F15 — Voice Changers

Voice-changing software is staff-discretion. If staff instruct you to disable it, you must comply regardless of character backstory.

F16 — No RMT (Real-Money Trading)

Buying/selling/trading in-game assets for anything outside the game (cash, items, services) is prohibited.

F17 — No Exploits or Graphics Advantage

Do not exploit mechanics or use graphical modifications/settings to gain advantage (foliage removal, night-brightness hacks, unusual LOD edits, NVIDIA filters that expose players, etc.). Report bugs; don’t abuse them.
